Ideal as a first whittling knife:
The longer 85 mm blade has a narrow and pointed shape suitable for most types of carving, both for beginners and professionals. The full tang running through the handle provides good stability for heavy cuts, while the tapered blade shape ensures precision.

Comfortable birch handle:
The barrel-shaped handle in oiled Scandinavian birch is designed for comfort, even during longer carving sessions. The knife comes with a plastic sheath.

Laminated carbon steel that withstands lateral pressure
The 2.7 mm thick and 85 mm long blade is made of French laminated carbon steel (100CR6). The carbon steel core is surrounded by softer steel that gives the knife high edge retention and toughness to withstand lateral bending. The blade has a hardness of 58.5 HRC and a polished surface to protect against rust, but the blade should always be wiped and oiled after use.
